LX Studio International Limited was tasked with designing a new multi-functional work-space for the Cha Duk Chang Children’s Cantonese Opera Association (NPO), at the newly renovated industrial building, The Mills in Hong Kong of approx. 1,650 sq.ft space includes cafes, exhibition zone, classroom, and work-space. The Architect responded with a poetic design that integrated ornamented art installation with culture and space. The narrative involved the research of the opera headdress and various bamboo theaters of Cantonese Opera.
