Helping Hands is a concept designed to make everyday life easier for deaf people. The deaf have in many cases the right to have an interpreter, for example, at the doctor, in the office or in court. But what happens if an interpreter is not available in an emergency? Helping Hands is a concept that empowers healthcare professionals to communicate with deaf people. In addition to communication cards and a communication board, the manual also points to important and specific information for dealing with the deaf. The most important gestures are learned and can be applied immediately.
