Through the research on the architectural shape of The Imperial Palace, they draw the outline of the building with the method of wire bending, and form a three-dimensional building shape through different array methods. Instead of inheriting traditional culture, they choose to use modern design language to bring new meaning to it after rethinking.

Both Lei Yu and Bingzhe Li graduated from the China Academy of Art and have long been engaged in the study of traditional Chinese culture. They are good at promoting contemporary design with the inspiration of traditional craft wisdom and work closely with local craftsmen to realize a new possibility based on traditional Chinese materials and technologies.
