Nine origin 2730 is our tribute to the way hand made designer eyewear should always be made. No shortcuts, just pure Japanese know-how that has been brought down through generations in order to be able to make the perfect product. A combination optical frame, made from original Japanese made acetate, grade 2 medical Titanium and Beta Titanium. In order to obtain the flexibility and lightness of this piece, we had to create an even more delicate and complicated structure than normally used for optical frames.

Designed in Denmark and handcrafted by skilled craftsmen in Japan. Ever since the first steps were taken in 2010, nine eyewear has set out to create ultra-light titanium eyewear without superfluous details. The weight of the frames, regardless of shape, color and material has always been just about 9 grams. Hence the name nine eyewear. Today nine eyewear offers 7 amazing collections. In the third collection an even lighter material was introduced – transparent polyamide – which in collaboration with titanium opened a new world of exciting design possibilities. In the fifth addition, they conceived the lightest nine eyewear frames ever; nine five – weighing less than 5 grams. The seventh and latest collection, nine origin, pays tribute to the Japanese artisans and the virtues of Japanese craftsmanship.
