Weili Wu was born in 1997 and is a young designer from Guangzhou, China. He graduated from the Guangzhou Academy of Fine Arts in 2019 and specializes in product design. During the school, he won the first class scholarship and also won the Red Dot Design Award in 2018; the K design Gold Award winner in 2018; the finalist of the 2018 Sparks Award Finalist,an so on，he is committed to achieving a better and more interesting lifestyle through design.

In December 2015, at the opening ceremony of the 2015 China (Dongguan) International Science and Technology Cooperation Week, the Dongguan Municipal People's Government and the Guangzhou Academy of Fine Arts signed a cooperation agreement to jointly build the Guangzhou Guangzhou Academy of Fine Arts Cultural and Creative Research Institute. This is the first new R&D institution in China that is jointly established by the Higher Art Academy and the local government. It is also the only new R&D institution in Dongguan that is deployed outside Songshan Lake.
