This is a standing bar where young people come for encounters. The underground location makes you feel like you are going into secret club, and the colored lighting throughout the space pumps up your heartbeat more with the graffiti. As the purpose of the bar is to connect people, we tried to design organic, circular shapes. The big standing table at the end of the bar is ameba-like shape, and the shape helps customers to get closer with other people without making them feel uncomfortable.

Born in Osaka Prefecture, founded supermaniac inc. in 2000. He specializes in branding, marketing, creative direction, and spatial design for various environments. His work has won several awards including the top prize at the Restaurant & Bar Design Awards, Gold at the Sky Design Awards and IDA Design Awards, and recognition from the iF Design Award and more. He has also received Japanese design awards.

The Public stand is a bar with a concept “Bar with All You Can Drink,” Cocktails made by our bartender in front of you. Customers can enjoy more than 100 kinds of drinks in low price. First time ever in Japan, it is applying paid once and free to entry all of their bars in other locations.
