Today's commercial market is keen on multiple sense of body, and its sales model makes everything appear more abundant and flexible in the past all times, and the context and content behind the products are magnified with accuracy or inaccuracy. This is the beginning of the "difference" formed by the public's willingness to perform distant roles while enjoying the ceremony of paying respects. It is undeniably expanding rapidly, and we are only trying to review some more original and rational spatial creation in a fast era.

There’s a growing number of coffee consumption happening in China, with the idea of “Bringing Specialty Coffee to Ordinary Life”, the first café of Laihui was opened in the Liuyun Estate, a quiet local neighborhood which surrounded by several shopping malls in the center area of Guangzhou. By using the pure and solid materials of cement and wood, to reduce the distraction of environment, and let people take as much attentions as possible to coffee itself. The Roastery is the 2.0 version of Laihui, “Sharing” is the main concept of the brand, and also is my design, there’s an open-ended bar to let costumer watch the process of coffee brewing, an experience area of coffee roasting which is the focus in this space, and the sitting area is surrounded by steel shelves with bags and cans of coffee on it, try to fulfill people’s imagination of the coffee production link.
