Soft Light Home is a 93sqm residential project in Singapore. To counter the problem of the absence of light, walls were hacked in 3 main areas to open up and flood the space with light and positivity. However, they are carefully demarcated through the use of layered space, allowing one to step from one zone to another, clearly aware of each area’s purpose. Materials and colour scheme are kept consistent to evoke the feeling of an extension of space. The white walls that accentuate the curves in the structure matched with the light wood flooring achieves the airy atmosphere for this home.
Komorebi Pte Ltd was founded in 2016. "Komorebi" which means sunlight filtering through the trees, is the phenomenon that explains their 8 design elements approach to a space. Their purpose is to multiply elements of artistic expression, creating spaces of sensory experience, stirring the soul to truly live. The result is a people-centric holistic approach, conjuring an atmosphere that realises the intangible.
