Howard’s Gourmet design concept combines classic Chinese architectural elements with contemporary materials and design concepts for a novel visual gradient. The layout of restaurant consists of private dining rooms and is based on the old Siheyuan concept. With massive use of gold in modern forms, it creates a contemporary palatial grandeur. Ancient views of formation of Sky and Earth, the 5 elements of Cosmology are major forms and shapes used to decorate the interior of the dining rooms. Adorned with rich colors, floral and geometric fabric, the environment is enriched with cheerful vibe.

Monique Lee, Interior Design Director of Mas Studio Ltd., columnist on interior designs for Capital Weekly, Hong Kong. She has a passion for art since childhood and has always aspired to design for spatial comfort and simplicity. Her designs are well received by clients as a blend of inspiration and functionality. With solid knowledge in architecture and interior designs, she started her career working with land developers after getting professional qualifications in her early twenties. Year 2009 is a milestone when she founded her own company to further her design career. In 2013, she got her first accolade with one of her designs in an interior design award. Since then, her designs have been gaining recognition in different design awards.

Howard’s Gourmet Beijing, is the restaurant’s first expansion into northern China after Mr. Howard Cai’s first restaurant Howard’s Gourmet Workshop in Guangzhou in 2005. Howard’s Gourmet Beijing is operated by Lai Sun Dining (formerly known as Lai Sun F&B Management). It is a high-end hospitality company that owns, develops, manages and operates a portfolio of illustrious restaurants in the Greater China area.
