It is a project to convert a convenience store that had been built in Shirakawa City to a showroom for the remodeling company At reform. Great importance was placed on a facade that expresses the corporate design without appearing too promotional. Even inside, the products do not dominate, but are simply housed in showcases. A remodeling company is not just a company that renovates a bathroom or a kitchen, but also creates a sense of cohesion and life. The city renovation company has also created a showroom in the community.

My name is Yasutomo Kumada. Born in Iwata City, Shizuoka Prefecture in 1978. First-class architect Established Doki Architects in 2013. My policy of design is to design architecture and activities in total. I think architecture and activities shouldn' be separetaed, and also architechere is not a only diagrams or statues. Architecture always contain a life of human being. Therefore, I create the foundation for a pleasant life for human being through the architecture. Our daily life is made up of many small factors. Through design, we change the scenery that we usually see in abundance. Enriching our lives with our designs. That's my job. In recent years, vacant houses have become a problem in Japan. I work on solving this problem as my main mission. I am an architect who is particularly familiar with the laws of Japanese architecture. Generally speaking, lawyers are not as creative as architects. But I am not. I have two things, creative perspective and knowledge about the law of architecture. Therefore, I can make a proposal to make effective use of many vacant houses and existing buildings.For example, in a project conducted in Kyoto, we converted an existing building that was not used by a company into a guest house. This has helped to improve the real estate value of the company and solve the problem of tourist accommodation.Also, at the award-winning at renovation, we were able to make effective use of the existing building as a regional hub.Our work, unlike simple renovations and conversions, as an architect, radically rethinks people's lives and imagines new values.
