After years of experience working in an American office and in renowned offices in Rio, in 2000 she founded Progetto Arquitetura e Interiores. In 2011, she started Gisele Taranto Arquitetura, an architecture and interiors company that operates strongly in high-end residential areas, such as corporate projects.
