She did additional studies at the Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute and Hudson Valley Community College, both in Troy, NY, USA between 1991 and 1995. After years of experience working in an American office and in renowned offices in Rio, in 2000 she founded Progetto Arquitetura e Interiores. In 2011, she started Gisele Taranto Arquitetura, an architecture and interiors company that operates strongly in high-end residential areas, such as corporate projects.
