Kamil Taner's philosophy is to design timeless furniture and interiors. He believes a great design will keep on living in our beautiful planet at every era. The attention to details, keeping the design as simple as possible without sacrificing from elegance nor the function brings wonders. He wanted his design it to look aged, he wanted to make people feel as if Metatron advanced in years. he wanted to walk in the path of great furniture designers like Paul Evans, Alvar Aalto and etc... and leave a remembrance. I am a designer. Designing feels natural to me. I do not consider it as work, it is something that comes innate. It is one of those things that makes me happy. People approach me because they see how much I love my work and how passionate I am. I believe that the story of a space and it’s furniture brings up great design together. My emphasis is on well made custom design furniture, lighting fixtures and interiors. Aesthetics and elegance is a must. Each project is for somebody else and what I do needs to reflect that person and their vision.For each client, I design unique and custom made furniture, lighting and interiors. In my experience anything that I do with love wins hearts.

Kamil did not start his career in Architecture and Interiors. He was a successful entrepreneur at the begining of the internet era. Later he manufactured energy efficient lighting fixtures for industrial plants and became a lighting designer in the process. From his early age he always loved buildings, structures, spaces, interiors, lighting and furniture but never knew why? His journey to Architecture and Interiors started with his friend asking him to design his office because he believed he had good taste. While building the office Kamil got fascinated by the endless possibilities of design and decided to learn more. He started to work in Halit Dağcıoğlu Architecture Company and got his interior design degree simultaneously. One thing led to another and he found himself designing buildings, restaurants, houses, furniture, lighting and offices for his clients. Kamil says Architecture and Interiors found him and he followed the path that was laid before him. He doesn’t like being called an architect or an interior designer, he defines himself as a designer because of his own approach to design. He believes a space should be unique, structure, interior and the furniture should be designed specifically for that project. He designs every little detail from walls, floors, doors, lighting all the way to the furniture himself creating an athmosphere that is a reflection of his client. You can see him with his sketchbook constantly designing because he just loves it.
