The Private Country Club, located at 9 Dingzhang Lane in the Xichen District of Beijing, resides in a building that has inherited the history and culture of Beijing’s bygone days and is now called “the dragon eye”. Traditional Chinese architecture and detail are playfully intermeshed with fluid motion strokes inspired by the calligraphy culture. The essence of nature and the passion of ink dance playfully throughout the ceiling sculptures, carpet and wall designs and within the wall murals and artwork to remind us of the beauty within traditional Chinese calligraphy.

Form not only follows functions, but also should have a touch of sensibility derived from art and emerged from culture. This gives the design a human touch.
