In 2015, the Custom Electronic Designers and Installers Association re-positioned its brand and identity. Architect Lorenzo Apicella was asked to bring to life the new identity in 3D, communicating ‘Vision, Passion, and Community.’ He designed CEDIA’s booth as a stage for visitors to gather, socialize, connect, present, conduct business, and support their association. Echoing CEDIA’s roots in immersive audio visual experiences, 4 white portals framed this ‘Stage’, acting as ‘Scenic Flats’ carrying audio-visual messaging and synchronized colored lighting to bring the stage to life.
CEDIA is the Custom Electronic Designers and Installers Association. Its members design, build and install the most advanced residential technology systems for the finest homes in the world. In 2015, it embarked upon a global re-positioning of its brand and with it, a new graphic identity. It chose its own annual tradeshow, CEDIA 2015 Future Home Experience, at the Dallas Convention Center as the time and place for unveiling it to 18,000 show attendees.
