Stephan Maria Lang Lakeside Living House and Garden
Lakeside Living House and Garden is Bronze Design Award winner in 2017 - 2018 Architecture, Building and Structure Design Award Category.
Lakeside Living House and Garden

The Architecture is to express a relationship to nature in which the house is part of the natural environment - recreating a lakeshore with discreet interventions and a simple wooden shell sitting carefully on the landscape acting as a refuge. Lucent shadows from the existing trees enter the space. The grass area seems to extend the interior of the house. The aim of this project was to create Organic Architecture by expressing the site character, the articulation of space and material, the light design and the contrasting quality of private and open space.

The architect, as an the intuitive partner, guides the client through diverse design possibilities. Through the fulfillment of wishes, he transform the visionary space of a green site into an inhabitable, comfortable masterpiece of architecture. If you truly wish to reflect on how you would like to build a house, this question cannot be answered in two or three words but requires tranquility and time to awaken your imagination. You have to be clear about what you require in order to feel comfortable, what your needs truly are and which dormant desires and memories you would like to integrate into your ideal home. Those who regard architecture superficially like to categorize it as old or new, modern or classical, beautiful or ugly. But the originality of architecture always depends on the people who have dared to go on a journey with an architect, starting from the idea and progressing through the building process, to transform their dreams into reality.
