Five-thousand phylogeny of Chinese art is the economic and cultural phylogeny of China. “The Moon Shines the Huaxia” gives priority to the development of Chinese crafts art, which represents the grand and magnificent history of Chinese civilization in a panoramic way. The predecessor of Luxun Academy of Fine Arts was the Yanan-based Luxun Arts College founded in April 1938 by Mao Zedong and Zhou Enlai, the first generation of CPC leadership. The college was relocated to Northeast China in 1945 and was renamed as Luxun Academy of Fine Arts in 1958.Fine tradition of integrating art production with social practice has been carried out in full form. A great number of classics have been produced and the great art heritage of China and foreign countries has been carried on. LAFA also practices the educational ideology of creating new national art.
