During a typical milling process, cedar pieces are cut from longer board stock. These pieces are gathered in bins and typically discarded. We “rescue” this material, glue the little pieces together, and turn them into beautiful usable boards to manufacture garden planters. Why does Rescue wood matter? Because no new trees are specifically harvested to produce this planter, eco-friendly and beneficial to responsible forestry practices. In addition we only use sustainably gown SFI/PEFC cedar.
