Some human sensations when expanded can carry a feeling of travel between dimensions. It can even be said that there is something cosmic about those experiences. As our vision is our principal sense to perceive the world, our eyes can be interpreted as dimension-travel machines, whose pupil expansion was the inspiration for this design. The name - TARDIS - is a reference to the dimension-time-travel machine presented on the Doctor Who series.

Camila Silva is an architecture and planning student from Brazil whose interests are focused on urban and interior design. Attended Georgia State University as an exchange student from 2014 to 2015, and since then has dedicated her senior year towards architectural lighting design.
