The building was designed to visible impact on the area it´s in. With a combination of new and traditional materials, wide gardens and cutting edge technology both in design and physical, the emporium is a pinnacle of efficiency and social impact on the area. The local people help to tend to the gardens and people all around the town come to buy the products products and enjoy the scenery.
Founded in 2002 and located in Belo Horizonte, Minas Gerais, Brazil, the office David Guerra Architecture and Interior develops projects in the areas of residential, commercial and institutional architecture, interior design and furniture design. With more than 20 years of activity in the field, architect David Guerra combines creativity and elegance to develop unique spaces full of soul, memories, concept and identity. The office’s works have been in exhibitions such as "Time Space Existence", organized by the G.A.A. Foundation as part of the 14th Biennale di Venezia 2014, and "Exposição Vertentes", in the Itamaraty Palace, Brasília, Brazil. They have also been extensively published in Brazilian and international press, and received several awards such as IAB - Instituto de Arquitetos do Brasil Award, Casa Claudia Interior Design Award, Amide Interior Design Award and Olga Krell Interior Design Award.
Geraldo de Barros is an entrepreneur and enthusiast for the art of baking. His vision for this project was to provide an environment unlike any other in the area so that he could share his passion with his beloved community. He was trough the whole design and construction process concerned to make sure that his vision would become true.
