The intent of this Lab is to get people out of their comfort zone and spur them to think about solutions and thoughts in different areas that influence or will influence the way to inhabit and live. The environment Lab, although fully integrated, presents an area sectorization: a first area of consulting, a second area, living/lounge, and a third area, meeting/working. The Lab has a suspended glass floor and mirror shards in the empty space between the existing subfloor and finished floor. The significance of the mirror comes to complement the concept of this work: depth and reflection.

She graduated as Architect and Urban Planner in 1989 at Universidade Santa Úrsula Univerity in Rio de Janeiro. She did additional studies at the Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute and Hudson Valley Community College, both in Troy, NY, USA between 1991 and 1995. After years of experience working in an American office and in renowned offices in Rio, in 2000 she founded Progetto Arquitetura e Interiores. In 2011, she started Gisele Taranto Arquitetura, an architecture and interiors company that operates strongly in high-end residential areas, such as corporate projects. "Her essence is an unceasing search for what is being done now. The challenges are always great motivators for new projects, projects that do not have formulas ready for repetition. The" DNA "of the materials used, the transparency of the spaces, the balance between natural lighting and and the integration of the interior with the exterior. Her architecture arises from the attentive and questioning look at the present, whether in artistic, political or technological movements. Gisele Taranto is an architect and urban planner formed in 1989 from the University Santa Ursula, Rio de Janeiro - Brazil. Additional studies conducted in Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute and Hudson Valley Community College, both in Troy, NY, USA. After 12 years of experience working in an American office and renowned Rio offices, founded Progetto Architecture and Interior. In 2011, she started Gisele Taranto Architecture, architecture and interiors firm that operates strongly in the residential area of high standard as well as corporate projects. Natural materials, sustainability, enhancement of lighting and technology are elements present in its projects. It has its work awarded in national and international competitions - among them A´ Design Awards, Casa Claudia Award, O Globo - Casa Cor Rio Award, ASBEA Award - and participates for 11 years in the largest architecture and interior event in the country - CASA COR.
