The key visual takes elements from bicycles and tools,and emphasises their mutual relationship,using creative images that explore their symbiotic nature,to express the quintessence of IBDC - unfettered inspiration.As regards the different applications of the key visual, the same creative concept was systematically adapted for each kind of media.For example:online brochures, posters, magazines, medals, etc, each conformed to the brand identity and through the multitudinous design combinations of different bicycles with different tools, thus it maintained a coherent brand image.

The International Bicycle Design Competition (referred to as IBDC) is organized by iF DESIGN TALENT GmbH. IBDC brings together experts in bicycle design from all over the world who are visionaries and pioneers of technology, or designers with unique ideas, and tasks them with revitalising the soul of cycling products, so that their innovative ideas will raise the international standards of bicycle design. Furthermore, by hosting the competition in Taiwan, it is hoped that Taiwan will become a creative hub for the cycling industry and a catalyst for bicycle innovation, and hence will continuously spur new trends that will spread throughout the global industry.
