Susa Bird Jewellery Set consists of minimal gold necklace and earrings which represent visual culture of ancient Iranians. Simple geometric form of pieces is aligned with modern minimal sense of aesthetics, but behind the form lies a story of years ago. What seems like a simple vertical line is in a closer look a bird, the very considered animal in history of Iran, repeatedly painted on dishes through historical periods. This design is inspired by the ones painted on Susa goblet. The form is also designed in a way to be vague and mysterious hence provoking the curiosity to discover its story.

I'm concentrating on the role of design in solving social and environmental issues, especially the local ones. Through years, I have struggled with variety of design subjects and tried many ways to utilize design for good causes, whether it comes to aesthetics or function.

Currently, Carin is a design studio that produces fine jewellery for personal use. The designers at Carin Design Studio use all their knowledge, creativity and expertise to create pieces that offer more joy and excitement. It is this passion that has resulted in designing their current line of jewellery; designs that are simple yet unconventionally attractive.
