This is a lamp of simplicity and abstraction. The shape of the base will change when looked from different angle; because it is constructed from triangle, a stable geometry, the base can still serve as a solid foot for its upper part. The tube light is connected with the body tube through a spiral, creating an illusion that it is floating in the air.

Marco(Yongge) Wu is currently a freshman in University of Illinois at Urbana-champaign, majoring in both industrial design and metal. He believes that good design must comes with good craftsmanship and a deep understanding of material. Influenced greatly by the early designs of Marc Newson, he decided to start designing furniture and homeware as a gateway to enter the world of design.

The logo is a signature of designer, and the red colour represents his passion to design.
