If a house is like a theatre, the furniture in it just like the actor. The pose and position of them have invisibly impact on our life. I want to bring a new fresh life to the furniture, which can deliver more feelings and meanings to people.I tries to combine some mathematical principles with the furniture design, such as Square Mosaic, Rectangle Mosaic, The Pythagorean Principle, Triangle, Ellipse, Triangle Mosaic, Pulley on my design. When people interacting with the furniture, they could understand the entertainment and fascination of Mathematics and admire it.
Yifeng Wang is a furniture product designer, graduated from China Central Academy of Fine Arts in 2015 and won the second prize of Excellent Graduation Design. His works Geometry is showed in the exhibition during Beijing Design Week which received well repercussions and won the Most Potential Award of Industrial design. He is good at exploring the story behind the product, even combine some interesting and interdisciplinary knowledge with product design.
Geometry is Yifeng Wang's Graduate Project in China Central Academy of Fine Arts (CAFA).
