Inspired by Fashion and Architecture, Michelle has made a name for herself for being a creative and edgy designer. Michelle now has several collections to her name and has exhibited them in New York, Los Angeles, Dubai and Germany. Her passion for abstract textures and people is evident in her latest works. Manaus is inspired by the rain forest in Brazil and is all about three dimensional designs creating movement. Michelle designs with an artist eye rather just designing a floor covering.

Michelle studied interior design in the UK and obtained a BA honours degree in 3D design. Michelle was quickly recognised by the hotel and hospitality industry for her talent and interpretation of 3 dimensional spatial designs. Having lived and worked all over the world from Brunei, Zimbabwe, Los Angeles, Europe, Qatar and Dubai.

Ayka Design is the brainchild of Award Wining Interior Designer K.Michelle Evans. Michelle was Winner of 2013’s Best Interior Designer of the Year In Dubai, whilst working for the renowned worldwide HBA Designers. She set up her own boutique design rug company Ayka Design some 18 months ago. Michelle has made a name for herself as one of the foremost, creative, edgy and progressive rug designers around. Michelle now has several collections to her name and has exhibited them in New York, Los Angeles, Dubai and Germany. Her passion for abstract textures and people is evident in her latest collections.
