The Panama Center for Events and Performing Arts is located at the mouth of the Panama Canal, with spectacular views of the Pacific Ocean and the city of Panama's skyline. The campus layout of the design includes an Exhibition Hall, Performing Arts Center, Banquet Hall, a restaurant and an outdoor amphitheater. The inspirations of the design draw from the history of Panama, and include the national bird, the Harpy Eagle, and Mola designs, which are traditional fabric designs of the Panamanian people. This design celebrates Panama's history and its future.

With an eye for architectural design and depth of technical skills, Lauren Stassi brings a unique perspective to her work. Lauren’s nine years of experience gives her an outstanding ability to deliver projects. Over her career, she has worked on large-scale Public Assembly, Mixed Use, and Commercial Office projects, as well as highly detailed Retail and Restaurant projects. Lauren guides her team to provide top-quality deliverables that capture both the artistic and technical elements of each design. As a project lead, Lauren focuses on advancing her team’s use of Building Information Modeling (BIM). She believes that BIM is essential to the development of creating cohesive design documents and enhancing collaboration between architecture and engineering disciplines. Lauren has shared her knowledge of documenting complex architectural designs with BIM as an invited speaker at Autodesk University. Lauren also creates content for RM Plus’s blog, focusing on Revit tips and tricks and project updates.
