Chair with Belly Button is a series of lightweight and portable chairs that allows users to utilize the spaces around them, such as stairs, floor, or piles of books, to provide a more comfortable sitting experience. The chair’s design redefines the idea of conventional seats by providing unexpected sitting options. The image of the chairs came from a dreamy scenario - a group of floppy and melting forms scattering in a space. They quietly lean against the walls and in the corners like little fellows sleeping. Each chair has its own belly button to lend a little bit of playfulness.
