My project is a lamp and its strength is expressed by the essentiality of form, what makes it interesting is the ability to increase and decrease the brightness of the LED using a touch membrane: this gesture portrays the tactility of the beam bright. The contrast between the thickness of the base and that of the curved surface does not create visual disturbance generating an elegant shape which is also able to make light, also be an element of furniture.
Luca Porta has a degree in industrial product design at the Polytechnic of Milan, now working as a draftsman in an engineering department of a company that produces furniture for shops and hotels. His passion is the design minimal and essential, like the wood because it is an essential material for him and always changing. In 2010 he graduated from the Art Institute of Cantù with a specialization in the art of wood.
Luca Porta is industrial designer with a degree in Industrial design at Politecnico of Milano. He was graduated in "Art of wood" at Istitute of Art in Cantù. Since 2009 Luca working as a draftsman in an engineering department of a company that produces furniture for shops and hotels.
