In Astana there is no mountain relief Ski activities . For mountain activities and prepare to compete in alpine skiing was invented object called indoor ski center . It provides three types of trails for different ownership skills of skiing. Designed stands for spectators to watch sporting events. Hotel designed for foreign athletes and visitors center. On the facade reflects the idea of the mountain gorge ice covered with snow . Support center stilled resemble icicles . The idea of such a center aimed at promoting skiing in Kazakhstan.

Astana city is not associate with mountain-skiing rest because of mountain relief’s absence. The primary goal of the covered mountain-skiing center project, that is the first in Kazakhstan, is to break this tendency. The center can receive visitors during the year, in spite of weather conditions. The center has the following structure: - One basic line in length of 400 meters, - Special descent for beginners; - A line of easy level. It is supposed that in the winter here will come skiers from different cities, and in the summer - fans of mountain’s rest. Besides, here will be possible to hold the international competitions, and to invite professional sportsmen for trainings in the summer. Nowadays they have to train highly in mountains or to go for training abroad. The center is also including mountain-skiing school.
