Oksana is a decorative and ultra-light weight hanger. A revolving textile belt is shaped by a wooden slat and forms the silhouette. Ease of threading through the collar is guaranteed by the use of a reduced and flexible design and the clothing is placed in a gentle manner on the textile belt. Basically the hanger works only by a system of push by the wooden part and pull by the fabric belt. There is the possibility of having an individual design. Woven and stitched logos for company specific use as well as traditional craftsmanship of local or traditional patterns are possible

There is no way the compare design and art. The two fields have nothing in common. There might be design pieces which look arty and are based on good craftsmanship. Still this has nothing to with art. Even if art is based on industrial production, it should not compared with design as its propose is complete different. In our view design is about innovation, production technic, function, craft and proportion of an object. Art follows other propose. This makes an artist. We are designer.

Oksana coat hanger is the first product of the upcoming collaboration between Yellow and the design studio BERNHARD | BURKARD. It's goal is a international corporation for cultural exchange between the Ukraine and Switzerland. The products is only one part of the yellow company. They also focus on travel, home and cultural fields.
