When Safepole's founder was hospitalized for intensive cancer treatment, she was frustrated by an IV pole that hindered her from performing basic tasks. By creating a design that empowers patients to perform tasks that normally require assistance, Safepole offers significant improvements for patients and hospitals. The increased base stability encourages ambulation, speeding recovery and reducing bed sores. Dual poles hold double the infusion pumps, a domed base prevents cord tangling, and the tube routers, on-board power strip, and oxygen tank holder help nurses efficiently do their job.
