Micklish

Micklish is the design/build studio of Curtis Micklish. Born in San Diego, California in 1981, Curtis has spent much of his life building. With a master carpenter for a father, his apprenticeship started at a very young age. The process of making something from nothing with your own two hands has always interested him, and his interest eventually led him to design, where he can be the dooer in every stage of the process, from original idea, to sketches on paper, to prototypes, to producing unique pieces by hand. His currrent work involves various handmade pieces for the home, with special attention to objects that offer something different, sometimes hidden. In his craft, he strives to create something completely unique, something never before seen or thought of, something that has a new function not yet offered.
