Clive and Tina Bullivant One Good Tern Mortar and Pestle with strainer
One Good Tern Mortar and Pestle with strainer is Bronze Design Award winner in 2011 - 2012 Bakeware, Tableware, Drinkware and Cookware Design Award Category.
One Good Tern Mortar and Pestle with strainer

The unique design of this mortar and pestle is intended to be a focal point on any kitchen work surface. It incorporates the use of coloured silicone to form safe grips on the stoneware components whilst bringing colour to an otherwise plain object making the product an eye catching feature of the kitchen when not in use. It adapts to fulfil its primary function of grinding ingredients but the lid reverses to fit securely over the mortar bowl transforming to a strainer allowing liquids such as lemon juice to be added when making pastes.

Clive and Tina Bullivant started 'Lovemirror-mirror' in August 2013 to draw on their backgrounds as designers and silversmiths. They chose to work specifically in Pewter, a traditional material for art metalwork making their products more accessible to a wider audience. Their work is characterized be richness of ornament and decorative use of supporting materials. Pieces make eye-catching use of colour both in stones and crystals used and in the organza backings applied to their products.

CNBconcepts

CNBconcepts was recently formed to offer design solutions and creative concepts for a wide range of retail products including tableware, furniture, fashion jewellery and kitchen and culinary design. We will work to a specific brief but make a point of pursuing individual design ideas for their own sake. Our designs always start as inspirational drawings which are enjoy client and team input. The viability of any concept is always tested before initial development stages involving CAD and solid modelling. We use a range of professional contacts to further develop an idea or a client may take the concept at this stage for their own research and development.
