Packaging Bejeweled is inspired by the designer's observations and reflections on disposable packaging that is commonly discarded in daily life. The design aims to provoke audiences' thoughts about the connection and contrast between inexpensive disposable packaging and valuable jewelry. It suggests that even the most affordable materials can become beautiful when reimagined and creatively repurposed in jewelry. This concept allows plastic packaging to become an integral part of the jewelry. Wearers have the option to display and protect their cherished items inside the transparent casing.

Nanxi Yang, a jewelry designer from China, graduated from Central Saint Martins, University of the Arts London, UK. In her design study and application, she often thinks about the connection between jewelry and people and society, and tries to use non-traditional jewelry materials and non-traditional wearing ways to find breakthroughs in different dimensions. She hope to continue to innovate and look for interesting and sustainable designs in the jewelry field. Therefore, you can see some interesting material combinations in her design. These materials may originally be common shapes and materials in life, but under her design, they glow with new vitality and beauty, giving jewelry wearers and viewers a new perspective to look at and understand her design.
