The design takes its inspirations from the unique blend of Greek, Roman, Byzantine and Ottoman architectures. The Dome ring, as unique in its design that it is a modern interpretation of famous Domes of Hagia Sophia. The design is an outcome of the Phd research that Fatma Altinbas had held in Grand Bazaar for 2 years, about the history of jewellery manufacturing in the area. The Dome ring is crafted from 18-carat rose gold and adorned with a total of 0.22 carats of G color, VS1 clarity diamonds, both on the inside and outside.

Mevaris jewellery design house is a London based jewellery company which has been founded by Fatma Altinbas in 2019. The brand has taken its roots from Fatma Altinbas's family business and her family is in jewellery design and production business since 1977. Fatma Altinbas has done her phd in sociology and studied jewellery artisans in Grand Bazaar and her book called 'The Stones of the Grand Bazaar' has been published in 2019. Mevaris Jewellery reflects her creative designs in jewellery.
