The knife encourages family participation in meal prep, promoting healthy eating habits while integrating sustainable materials like polypropylene with 30 percent wheat straw and plastic-free kraft packaging. Cristina Falcon is a Spanish designer with a background in the film industry, specializing in Character animation for VFX/animation. After working on international productions around the world, she decided to pursue her long-standing passion for product design. SKÅGFÄ was born from real family needs. It started with baby essentials like blankets, burp cloths, and bibs. As her children grew, their needs evolved — leading to a desire to cook together, explore new foods, encourage healthy eating, and spend meaningful time as a family. The KLYV children's knife is the result of that journey — a product created to support child development in a safe, fun, and conscious way. Her design philosophy blends the simplicity of Scandinavian design with the vibrant spirit of Mediterranean color, with a strong focus on functionality and high quality design. Following the success of KLYV, she is currently working on a new collection to be launched soon.
