The Billund grinder is an upside-down spice, salt, pepper grinder meaning that it does not leave any residues on the table. It has a silicone plug at the bottom that makes it easy to fill up with any spices or blends that you love using. It is a fun, playful design inspired by the colourful building blocks of Denmark. The housing of the Billund grinder is entirely made of a sustainable bio-composite. The material comes from a combination of wood cellulose fibres and the oils that are squeezed out of wood pulp when making paper.

Based on the principles of the old mortar, CrushGrind was developed to be more than just a pepper mill – established to create a better grinder than available on the market. Through will, passion and a bit of nerdiness we invented the original ceramic mechanism – a revolution of traditional pepper mills enabling consumers to grind all sorts of dried herbs and spices. And thereby releasing the essential oils from spices and deriving the full aroma. With our 1994 mill we offered a new and better way to adjust the grinder and a easier way to fill the spices. Our mindset is characterized by our authentic story and eagerness to create better kitchen tools. We aim to inspire our consumers and give them the best gastronomic experience - because we believe that everybody deserves one.
