The project consists of partial reconstruction and complete visual transformation of an existing house built in pseudo-traditional style. The main idea has been to achieve the exactly opposite effect: to have a contrasting, memorable, minimalistic and contemporary architecture. The biggest challenge of the project has been to reduce the cluster of geometries and to emphasize the constructive principle of the building by making some spatial and organizational improvements of the interior.

For Simple Architecture the simplicity of decisions and shapes reflects a more global philosophy of life. One that every person of the team shares and applies in every activity they undertake: deeply understanding a given task, extracting and synthesizing the most important information, and transforming it into a simple final result. Thus, reaching simplicity is an extremely complex process. However, Simple Architecture's team believes that exactly by achieving simplicity, one can reach the real nature of beauty.

Simple Architecture is a multidisciplinary studio mainly working on architecture and interior design projects. The studio is based in Sofia (Bulgaria) and was founded by Alexander Yonchev. Alexander Yonchev is a Bulgarian architect who graduates with distinction from the École Nationale Supérieure d'Architecture de Saint-Étienne in France in 2013. From 2013 to 2015 he lives and works in Italy, managing various private residential and commercial projects located on the French Riviera. During this period he completes additional courses at the École Polytechnique Fédérale de Lausanne and Yale University. He returns in Bulgaria in 2015 and in 2017 he establishes his own practice under the name of Simple Architecture. Since 2017 Simple Architecture has been working on various public and private projects around the world.
