The very design of the new interior elements has been kept in the industrial convention, which is directly associated with the original function of the Hangar. The designed mezzanine is nothing more than a bridge structure, whose expressive lattice structure catches the eye. Elevated 3m above the ground, the mezzanine is deliberately erected at a certain distance from the building's exterior walls, so as to preserve as much of the building's originality as possible. The old heating stoves along with the installation have also been restored and exposed for viewing.
EKOTEKTURA Piotr Pyrtek, is an architectural studio established in 2011. Numerous trips, internships and foreign contracts held by the owner left a significant mark in the projects created by the office. Foreign studies in Germany taught work on details, a year-long stay in sunny Italy brought one closer to a new trends in design, and working with Norman Foster in London taught tenacity in pursuit of the goal. The office deals with architectural design in a wide range of areas, from residential, commercial, industrial architecture to interior design and industrial design. In each project one can see certain principles and design philosophy, which is based on understanding the broad context and analyzing the space. There are no haphazard lines in the designs, and the created planes intermingle in a planned way. Respect for places and objects has become an overriding value, and the final result is its effect. Architecture is created by people, for people, but with respect for the environment and the surrounding space.
