Digital Taihu uses 3D printing technology to activate the application of traditional Chinese culture in the digital age, combining Taihu stone with bi-directional evolutionary structural optimization algorithms to explore design generation methods from natural systems, resulting in digitally sustainable designs with optimized structures.
The team is dedicated to the use of algorithms to generate design forms, combined with computational optimization and force analysis to obtain optimal bionic designs. The members are drawn from outstanding Nanjing University of the Arts and RMIT University units with excellent design capabilities and look forward to combining generative design with digital construction techniques and actively exploring new areas for the future.
