The implication of blue in a realistic vintage design with a surreal monochrome environment showing more design details in a mysterious, calm and elegant ambiance, emphasize the playfulness of the theme. Scenes like a casino in the US, a hotel in the UK, retail in France and a piazza in Rome turned the entire shop into a movie scene. By combining various realistic worldwide vintage scenes and architecture into the abstract world of blue, taking the advantage of a monochrome style to find harmony between different eras and styles, creating a unique art piece in the city.
Alvan Suen is the Managing Director and founder of Nameless Hong Kong Limited, graduated from the University of Hong Kong with a Bachelor of Art in Architectural Studies. Besides design and running projects, he had been doing research and teaching in the University of Hong Kong as well; his researches and works on the environmental design in the HKU explore the problem of microclimate in the dense cities, solutions for reducing energy consumption in summer through design forms by using air pressure and natural ventilation, reactivating the alleyways between buildings in HK and climate-responsive high-rise residential building design.

Monmono is an Art Brand of The Montage Group Limited. Monmono is the group's presentation of Monochrome, one of the proven durable idioms of contemporary art. Monochrome means one colour, so in relation to art, a monochrome artwork is taking a single base hue and being creative with its Shades (Black), Tones (Gray) and Tints (White). The group treats Monmono as an art project instead of a typical restaurant, and it was born to be a montage of Interesting Spaces, Creative Art Pieces, Tuneful Melodies, Delicious Food and Beverages and a Unique Experience. The belief of “Vision creates a significant impact on the Taste” in Human’s Five senses, they aim to magnify customers’ experience to the next level by creating many impactful and sensational memory with the Monmono concepts. Given the fact that dining takes a significant part of the human’s basic necessities of life, they wish to provide spaces that not only fulfill people’s needs in the food itself but with much greater satisfaction.
