The project was approached by the design team from a dual perspective of both creator and user. Through a new interpretation of the classical "less is more" concept, the designers deconstructed the traditional formula for office space design. Taking into account factors such as construction feasibility, aesthetics, functions, and human-space interaction, the team portrayed a vivid spatial image through the natural strokes of lines, textures, and light.
The design practice's name "Leading River" is derived from the famous ancient poem "Viewing the Waterfall at Mount Lu" written by Li Bai. We draw inspiration from nature and analyze the relationship between time and space, to dig into the essence of design and endow each space with ever-lasting charm in the passage of time. We work to convey warmth, restraint and harmony with nature in design practices, and endeavor to make continuous effort to create quality design works.
