The prints in the Crash Collection are all about the image destruction of all the files after a computer crash. The designer's memories and works are all turned into colored blocks: Each rectangular with a unique pattern. Meng Ling interpreted these pixmaps into the structure of the garment, projecting the 2-dimensional image onto the 3-dimensional human body. The main point of the design is the dizzying color scheme and the unreasonable placement of images. The essence of glitch is to constantly break and reorganize, and find a perfect balance.

Being a fashion designer, Meng Ling sees beauty in every moment that people usually ignore. Meng Ling wants her works not just a wearable garment, she aims to make wearer has deeper emotional connection with the garment, such as adding some mechanism that allow wearer to join their own design. The philosophy that Meng Ling wants to express is thinking multiple ways to keep the life circle of one piece of garment if we already solve the material problem, then maybe we can see emotion aspect might be another way to participate.
