The idea behind The Link was to use the symbolism of the Moon which is believed to connect people across the globe. This, in combination with the concept of a link, represents being an integrative part of something bigger, a whole, the chain. Both motives are presented in the head shape as well as the shank which is composed of differently sized and positioned Moon shaped links, forming an open, comfort shank. These links simultaneously represent the different phases of the Moon. The designer's intention was to help people feel more connected with people far away through this piece.

Jelena is an inventive soul, having created artwork in countless forms – graphic design, portrait drawing, painting, textile design etc. But in recent years, her main focus has been jewellery design. She has spent the last 22 years in the jewellery industry, all the while researching and combining different materials and new techniques to create and/or craft jewellery. She has capable hands, a creative mind and an undying desire to learn, create and leave her trace through her artwork.

Extomedia Design is a small and young entrepreneurial company founded by designer Jelena Dinic. The company provides specialized design services in various fields, from visual identity design, creation of promotional digital and printed material, jewellery design and 3D modeling, 2D and 3d animation, to audio and video production.
