Designer redesigns the look of algae with the Chinese character, and combined with numbers of algae on the cover, leading readers to associate with the topic immediately. Doodles of various types of algae are coated with translucent varnish which creates senses of watery reflection. They extended through the whole cover to create an image of pond that full of algae. Also, a small matching quiz is designed on the inner cover for readers to get to know the names of algae.

The designer was born in Taiwan in 1981. In 2019, he established "Midu Design Studio". He is obsessed with the combination of images and text layouts.
