Swiss architecture studio Evolution Design has designed the new Zurich-based headquarters of Barry Callebaut, the global manufacturer of high-quality chocolate and cocoa products. Along with interiors that activate senses through a myriad of textures, materials and colors, the new head office also incorporates a chocolate academy and three large employee hubs that are linked with internal staircases. The offices feature oxygen generating plants and comply with Swiss sustainability standards.

Evolution Design is a Swiss architecture and design studio that focuses on human-centred design solutions. The practice was founded in 2004 from the passion and drive of Stefan Camenzind to create a new level of client-focused design solutions. Barry Callebaut is a Swiss cocoa processor and chocolate manufacturer, with an average annual production of 2.2 million tonnes of cocoa & chocolate. The company sources and processes cocoa beans to produce fine chocolates, including chocolate fillings, decorations and compounds.
