Timothy Hardman Rollerback Rocker Chair
Rollerback Rocker Chair is Iron Design Award winner in 2021 - 2022 Furniture Design Award Category.
Rollerback Rocker Chair

Timothy developed the Rollerback Rocker in an attempt to create a kinetically engaging chair. The average chair does not allow for much user input, only support. By incorporating cushions that freely rotate on the back and rockers on the bottom, the user can adjust easily and often in the chair, letting them dictate how the design fits their needs. The trapped walnut accents soften the design while the metal frame provides a stable foundation for the leather upholstery.

Timothy Hardman

Timothy Hardman has been making furniture since 2010. He specializes in an organic modernism style of design, bridging the natural curves and textures of wood with geometric structures. Located in San Francisco, California, his work heavily features the native Californian Claro Walnut. His aim is to create a balance of nature, aesthetic, and functionality in each piece he makes.

Timothy Hardman

Timothy Hardman prioritizes the materials that go into his designs. Each design is centered around the best way to showcase the raw materials that go into the process. Instead of designing backwards and manipulating materials into forms that disguise their true nature, Timothy wants the user to feel connected to the piece and understand its origins.
