The value of aesthetic education courses is gradually becoming acknowledged in education circles. We lead the way in advocating the transformation of classroom spaces for the purposes of aesthetic education and came up with the concept of Aesthetic Lab. The hope is that the classroom will become a place for student’s to seek and explore aesthetics knowledge, turning it into a receptacle for the chemical reaction between rational knowledge and perceptual imagination.

CloudForm Laboratory is studio established in 2019. Most of the projects are designed for educational spaces. To explore space-related issues and use uncommon and unconventional thinking to carry out design operations, the studio understands space as a medium to reflect on the nature of design issues. The studio’s philosophy originate from the concept that ‘clouds are invisible and intangible.’

Design is taking the world by storm. It plays an increasingly important role in the economy, culture, and society of a country. Meanwhile, more and more industries are treating design as a core competitive advantage. With this in mind, the government is establishing the “Taiwan Design Research Institute” (TDRI) in 2020. The aim of this project is to capitalize on Taiwan’s strengths in design to drive industrial development and the overall economic growth.
