The School of Design has five majors: Industrial Design, Product Design, Environmental Art Design, Digital Media Art, and Fashion and Apparel Design. Teachers have published 109 academic papers, including 35 articles in Class A, the three major indexes, and more than 20 books and textbooks. Teachers have been granted 270 patents, including 14 invention patents and 256 utility model patents. Over the years, the School of Design has been committed to promoting international cooperation and conducting multi-level exchanges with foreign universities to cultivate students with a global perspective and innovative design concepts. Since 2013, the School of Design has been working with the University of Bridgeport in the United States on the "2+2" and "3+1" programs for industrial design undergraduates, cultivating industrial design and management talents with an international perspective and comprehensive aesthetic ability.
