Wacai headquarters located in Hangzhou, China is designed as a green and sustainable north-south facing building with extensive skyrise greenery incorporated within. The cylindrical architecture form allows maximum natural light into the interior space thus minimize the use of artificial lighting in the office spaces within. It is designed with extensive landscapes all over the site to offset carbon emissions as well as to regulate the ambient temperature in a bid to cut down on the reliance of climate control systems.
The client Wacai Yungu Group is a unicorn company in Hangzhou, Zhejiang, China and their core business is in web financing services. While Jason the co-founder of Hortian Consultancy (architecture, interior and landscape design) is the main designer of the design proposal.
